INCI: Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Peel Oil

The essential orange oil is obtained by cold pressing the outer fruit peels of the fruits of the sweet Valencia Orange (Citrus sinensis). The main component with a content of up to 95% is limonene. Myrcene, citral (Neral and Geranial), octanal and decanal are present in lower concentrations.
The ingredients of the essential orange oil have a number of health-relevant properties. Recent studies have shown that essential orange oil has strong antiseptic effects. In the case of inflammatory skin diseases (acne), essential orange oil has an anti-inflammatory effect. Also with cellulite it can be used as a massage oil or oil bath due to its astringent (contracting) effect. The scent of the essential orange oil spreads a feeling of space and leads to deep relaxation.
