Essential organic tea tree oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves and twigs of the tea tree. The essential organic tea tree oil is a slightly mobile, yellowish liquid. It has a herbaceous, fresh and eucalyptus-like smell. It is limited in its use as a fragrance.
The essential organic tea tree oil has an antiseptic and antimycotic effect on cosmetic products. It is therefore used for blackheads, acne and fungal infections.
