Good combinations
INCI: Lysolecithin
Lysolecithin E NGM consists of hydrolysed lecithin and soya bean oil with the naturally occurring ratio of the various phospholipids and glycosides typically found in soya. Lysolecithin is a special derivative of lecithin in which one fatty acid is replaced by an OH group.
This replacement leads to improved emulsifying and dispersing properties and a better water binding capacity, resulting in an improved skin feel. Lysolecithin E NGM also forms micelles and is a suitable co-emulsifier for O/W formulations with a high water content.
In addition to its function as a co-emulsifier, it also contributes to better combability of the hair in conditioners and to a light, silky skin feel in leave-on formulations.
It is particularly suitable for the cold production of bath oils. It can also be stirred into ready-made creams and lotions to stabilise the Emulsion.
