Glycin Betain is a natural moisturizer that occurs in plants and animals as an osmolyte that protects cells from environmental stress and specifically against dehydration (control of cell water balance). This highly purified betaine monohydrate is specially developed to be used in water-based formulations such as lotions, skin creams (emulsions), shampoos, and liquid color cosmetics.
