INCI: Cedrus Atalantica Wood Oil
Essential organic cedarwood oil is obtained by steam distillation of the wood of the Atlas cedar. It is a fluid that is easily moveable, usually yellowish to orange in colour. The smell is described as characteristic, spicy, warm and woody.
Essential organic cedarwood oil is used as a fragrance component to achieve woody, warm and fresh nuances in the production of perfumes (wooden, amber, mimosa and fern notes). It is often used for scenting soaps or similar products. Essential organic cedarwood oil is a good scent fixator.
Do not use Cedrus atlantica internally. Pregnant women, children under 10 years of age and epileptics should not use this oil!
