INCI: Theobroma Cacao Seed butter

The cocoa tree has the scientific name "Theobroma cacao", which means "food of the gods".
It was considered sacred by the Aztecs.

Our organic cocoa butter is made from cocoa beans by mechanical pressing, deodorisation and filtration.
It is characterised by a high proportion of saturated fatty acids, many vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. A booster for dry and irritated skin. It has a moisturising effect and melts gently at body temperature.

As this butter hardens, emulsions sometimes only reach their final consistency after 2 days. Perfect for body butters and lotions, creams, anti-ageing products, soaps, bath additives and in lip care products.
