INCI: Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (Vitellaria paradoxa subspecies nilotica)

This shea butter is extracted from the even more valuable and rich Nilotica shea nuts. This variety grows in eastern Africa and has a higher content of olein (omega-9 fatty acids) and linoleic acid (omega-6 fatty acids) and a low content of saturated fatty acids. This gives this shea butter a softer and smoother texture, is better absorbed into the skin and smells more subtle than the West African shea butter.
100% organic shea butter, without further additives, produced by crushing the shea nuts, adding water and producing an emulsion, heating and then separating the fat. The shea nut grows on the shea tree of the genus Vitellaria paradoxa subsp. nilotica.
