Squalane is a natural hydrocarbon obtained from the unsaponifiable part of olive oil.
It serves as a valuable moisturising base. Squalane protects the skin from moisture loss, makes it soft and supple and thus improves the structure of the natural lipid film.
Due to its excellent penetration properties, squalane is also used as a carrier for active ingredients. In cosmetics, squalane, plant-based, is mainly used as a fast-spreading, oxidation-stable and non-irritating lipid in skin emulsions, sun care products, foundations and hair care products.
Our product has a squalane content of at least 92% and is obtained exclusively from 100% olive oil.


Use concentration:
   1 - 100% in oil products  
   1 - 20%   in emulsions
0.5 - 3%     in hair conditioners
