INCI: Butyrospermum Parkii Butter

SheaSoft is a carbon-neutral, fully traceable, creamy-textured, semi-solid shea butter.
It is made from refined, bleached and deodorised vegetable fat extracted from the fruit of the shea tree (Butyrospermum parkii).


The high melting point and fast crystallisation pattern ensure smooth, homogeneous formulations with excellent thermal stability and long shelf life compared to conventional refined shea butter.

SheaSoft is an effective moisturiser and forms a barrier-protecting lipid film on the skin that reduces transepidermal water loss. It is also an excellent texturiser and sensory enhancer, improving the consistency of formulations and providing a rich, luxurious skin feel. It can be used very well in body butters, lip care and anhydrous formulations.
