Marigold Blossoms, organic
INCI: Calendulae officinalis L.
Country of origin is Egypt
The marigold blossoms are harvested shortly after the efflorescence from June to October. Then they are air-dried and separated from the calyxes.
Marigold blossoms contain Triterpensaponine and Triterpenalkohole with Faradiol as the most active connection. Other ingredients of the marigold blossoms are ethereal oils, Carotinoide, Flavanoide and Polysaccaride.
Marigold blossoms are used as a tea, soap addition or as a marigold cream. With small wounds this ointment is very helpful. She looks antiseptic and thereby anti-inflammatory. Also very well suitably with tockener and lighted skin.
