Preparation:

Step 1:
Prepare all mixing utensils and equipment.
Disinfect them and your work surface. Please also sanitise the jar or lotion bottle into which you wish to fill the finished product.

Wear disposable gloves.

Step 3:
Now weigh all the raw materials of the individual phases and organise them according to phase affiliation.

Production:

Step 1:
Select a pigment mixture. You can find suggestions in our recipe world under ‘Decorative cosmetics’.
Prepare these according to the instructions.

Step 2:
Carefully disperse the pigment mixture with phase A) in a small beaker to form a viscous pigment paste until the colour appears homogeneous.
Heat to approx. 85°C.

Step 3:
Now add phase B) to phase A). Disperse well with a glass stirring rod until everything has melted homogeneously.

Step 4:
Now add phase C) and disperse well again.

Step 5:
Allow to cool slightly.
At a temperature of approx. 63-65°C, the pigment/fat phase is best poured into the lipstick mould. Then place in the fridge immediately.
Leave to harden there.

Step 6:
Remove the lipstick from the mould and place in the case.
And yes, I know you would like to try it out straight away, but ideally you should leave it to harden for another 2-3 days.
