Cold Cream
Cold creams are very rich creams and therefore offer protection on cold days. They are particularly suitable for dry and stressed skin.
Their ingredients can promote the regeneration of the skin.
Thanks to its natural emulsifying properties, beeswax ensures that we do not need a classic emulsifier during production.
Preparation:
Step 1:
Prepare all mixing utensils and equipment.
Disinfect them and your work surface. Please also sanitise the jar or lotion bottle into which you wish to fill the finished product.
Wear disposable gloves.
Step 2:
Now weigh all the raw materials of the individual phases and categorise them according to phase affiliation.
Production:
Step 1:
Weigh phase A and B separately from each other.
Step 2:
Add the hibiscus powder to the rose hydrolate. It cannot be dissolved, but it can be dispersed. And add Chemikons.
Step 3:
Now heat both phases separately until phase A is melted clear. (65-70°C)
Step 4:
Now slowly add phase B to phase A, homogenising it at high speed with a hand blender. Stir continuously or repeatedly until the cream has reached hand warmth. (approx. 40°C)
Then continue stirring with a spatula until it is cold. This is important so that the phases do not separate. It will only reach its final consistency the next day.
