Baby Diaper Cream
Veg-Lanolin is very similar to animal lanolin in terms of colour, consistency and mode of action, it is very well tolerated by the skin and odourless. It serves as a barrier protection for the skin and impresses with its high moisturising capacity.
Squalane and phytosteryl macadamiate make the skin more resistant and protect against moisture loss.
Preparation:
Step 1:
Get all mixing utensils and equipment ready.
Disinfect them and your work surface. Please also sanitise the jar or lotion bottle into which you wish to fill the finished product.
Wear disposable gloves.
Step 2:
Boil the water. Please also boil purchased distilled water. (It is only salt-free, not necessarily germ-free)
Step 3:
Now weigh all the raw materials of the individual phases and categorise them according to phase affiliation.
Production:
Step 1:
Add water, Blend 1388 eco plus, PolyCare A200 and glycerine to a beaker. Adjust the pH value to 5.5 with the citric acid solution.
Step 2:
Now add all the ingredients of phase B to a separate beaker as well. Stir carefully with a spoon to distribute the zinc oxide correctly.
Step 3:
Add phase C) to phase B) and heat the mixture to 80-85°C.
Step 4:
Heat A) to 80-85°C as well.
Step 5:
Now slowly add the water phase to the fat phase while stirring to obtain an emulsion.
Make sure that the water phase does not collect on the oil phase during the addition. Then stir very briefly with the mixer.
Leave the emulsion to cool.
Nothing smells as good as your baby. We have therefore deliberately refrained from using any perfume.
