INCI: Polyglyceryl-4-Oleate

Polyglyceryl-4-Oleate PGMO.4 is a PEG-free non-ionic emulsifier for oil-in-water emulsions such as creams and lotions, especially for essential oils. It is an ideal raw material for use in natural cosmetics.

An oil-to-milk formulation can be produced very easily with this emulsifier. The composition would be 20% polyglyceryl-4-oleate PGMO.4 and 80% oil. Oils with an iodine value above 80 are suitable for this, for example: almond oil, sunflower oil, olive oil, sesame oil, jojoba oil.

Processing instructions:
With polyglyceryl-4-oleate, we have a molecule with a very high degree of esterification, which is why we create a rather rich texture here.
It generally dissolves very well in the fat phase, but if it does not work, it usually helps to heat the fat phase while stirring.
