INCI: Cetearyl Alcohol (and) Coco-Glucoside

MONTANOV™ 82 is an O/W alkyl polyglucoside emulsifier of natural origin, for sprayy to thick cream textures with a rich feel. As a supporter of liquid crystals that biomimetically replicate the lipid bilayer of the cell membrane, it helps stabilise the emulsion, provides the restructuring effect (reduction of TEWL) and the moisturising effect. Has good cold resistance (-25C) and strong resistance to electrolytes. SPF formulas are stable over time.

- Improved hair care performance
- Possibility to incorporate high amounts of oil that nourish the hair
- Rinses out easily thanks to its hydrophilic character, leaving hair feeling ultra soft
- Promotes the liquid crystal/lamellar phase
- Improves emulsion stability
- Forms water reservoirs
- Helps in the vectorisation of active ingredients
