This plant-based alternative to preservatives from Active Micro Technologies can be used in a variety of cosmetic products. For optimal results, we recommend a pH range of 3 to 8. The product should be added during the cooling process at temperatures
below 70°C.

Leucidal® SF MAX is based on a probiotic starting material produced by the fermentation of lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus) in a special culture medium. These microorganisms are known for their ability to produce antimicrobial peptides that give them a survival advantage. The fermentation product is salicylate-free and offers both broad-spectrum antimicrobial and skin conditioning properties.

To achieve a reliable broad-spectrum effect, we recommend combining Leucidal® SF MAX with other co-preservative products, such as pentylene glycol or organic acids, e.g. potassium sorbate solution.
