INCI: Silica

Silica is a white powder that is very voluminous, very fine and very light.
It forms stable gels in water and clear oil gels with oils and fats.
Preparations containing silica are temperature-resistant, non-sticky and less susceptible to micro-organisms.
In higher concentrations, it has a slightly drying effect and creates a dull feeling on the skin.
At a concentration of 0.5-1.0%, it improves the flowability of powders.

Solubility:
-Stir into cold or warm water
-Stir into cold or warm or hot oil

Important:
It is very dusty. Please always use a mouth and nose protector.
Do not confuse silicic acid with silica. They are not identical!
