Our Ceramide-Complex is a skin-identical lipid concentrate for improved skin moisturization and protection. It is ideal for mature skin, dry skin and sensitive skin. Ceramide-Complex is a concentrated formulation consisting of a multilamellar (membrane) system similar to the structure of the lipid barrier in the stratum corneum and various types of ceramides, cholesterol, free fatty acids and Phytosphingosine. This makes it the ideal active ingredient for body care products with unique regenerative properties. Ceramide-Complex convinces by its broad application spectrum e.g. in creams and lotions. It is suitable for moisturizers, anti-wrinkle products, skin repair and skin protection. This concentrated blend of different types of ceramides, cholesterol, free fatty acids and phytosphingosine protects and restores the skin barrier.
Ceramide-Complex improved the supply and exchange of skin lipids and is produced with vegetatively obtained, semi-synthetic cholesterol.
Processing: Ceramide-Complex is added to the water phase (up to 80°C). If it is added to an existing cream or lotion, the viscosity of the product may change. Ceramide-Complex contains an anionic surfactant as liposome former, therefore cationic emulsions should be avoided because of possible interferences with the liposome structure.
