A wax obtained by extraction of the candelilla bush (Euphorbia antisyphilitica) - a Mexican shrub species. This wax provides a soft consistency in cosmetic formulations. It is harder than beeswax but softer than carnauba wax. Cosmetics containing candelilla wax are easier to apply and are very pleasant on the skin. Especially hand and foot creams contain this wax. Lip and skin care sticks also benefit from its properties.
