The Buddleja extract is obtained from the flowers of the butterfly lilac and is a broadband photoprotector that protects against natural and artificial (Blue Light) light.
The plant is known for its high content of verbacosides and echinacosides which provide UV and IR protection. Every day the skin has to adapt to changing influences. No matter if sunlight induced cell oxidation or the free radicals caused by the Blue Light. Infrared radiation and visible light such as Blue Light penetrate deeper into the skin layers, causing premature skin aging and accelerating unwanted pigmentation.
The Buddleja extract targets 100% of the light spectrum. Whether UVA, UVB, visible light such as Blue Light or IRA - the skin is completely protected. The skin structure is preserved because the Buddleja extract protects against sun-induced skin damage and at the same time offers active cell protection.
Short form of the mode of action:
Protects the skin barrier and reduces free radicals.
Reduces acute and chronic inflammation
Stimulates elastin production
