INCI: Cera Flava

Beeswax is a metabolic product of the honey bee. The yellow wax is in pellicle form and has the typical odour. With its skin-caring properties, it is mainly used in creams, lipsticks and eyeliner pencils. It provides a delicate, enveloping protective film, which is particularly desirable for dry, chapped and irritated skin. Beeswax is used as a consistency agent for creams, lipsticks and body lotions. If used in too high a concentration, it can lead to an unpleasant feeling of tightness on the Skin.
